- On mind and body Taking care of my mind and body is important. What I need in terms of physical activity varies greatly from season to season so I listen to my body. Sometimes I go for 40 minute runs in the park but mostly I go for brisk half-hour walks about four times a week. This is very good for the soul. I do light strength training a few times a week. I follow an Ayurvedic system and I am the type who needs the gentlest of all exercises programs. I don't overdo it. What do I eat? I'm a granola freak- especially that new hemp cereal. I always use low fat or soy milk on it. I am mainly a vegetarian and I get my protein from plant sources. My friends always make fun of the amount of peanut butter I put on my PBJ's. I love Indian food because it is all about balance of taste and flavors. Learn more, and hear me sing! |
